Patented Washing Machine
Such a model of a washing machine can be used to wash cloth using the cavity effect created by an array of ultrasonic emitters (similar principle as an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner). Such a device is especially useful for delicate cloth since it does not stretch the cloth.
This washing machine does not require little to no detergent since the cavity effect has sufficient cleaning effect for most cloth. Since the detergent is not added, the water can be recycled by using a high-frequency electromagnetic wave to ionize the dust particles to cluster into larger particles and get filtered over a mesh filter. This design ended up using 85% less water needed for the conventional washing machine.

Hackathon
I was the mentor of a team in a high-performance computing(HPC) hackathon.
We created a model on the death due to infectious disease with more parameters considered than the well-known SIR(susceptible-infectious-removed ) model.
We also conducted research on the correlation between death rate and area average income.
